RAIN Eugene and FertiLab have merged to better serve the entrepreneurial community in the Southern Willamette Valley. Going forward the merged organization will be known as RAIN Eugene.

The new RAIN Eugene allows entrepreneurs at any stage of their startup to have a single place to go for support and resources.

The shared missions of RAIN Eugene and FertiLab will allow us to more effectively deliver on our mission goals of entrepreneurial education, workforce development, capital formation, and infrastructure development. This merger builds on the early successes of both organizations. In less than 3 years, there have been:

  • 40 companies launched
  • $7M raised in investments
  • 80 jobs created
  • $3M in revenue earned by new startup companies

RAIN Eugene has recently secured funding from Lane Workforce Partnership to continue the successful work of the early stage educational programs. The $190,000 grant enhances the availability of training for startup businesses and entrepreneurs, helping them to develop the skills to build successful companies.

This merger represents a long-term investment in our region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem that helps to strengthen local economic resilience.
